The Sundayz® Outdoor Gerbera varieties are slow aging, compact plants. With their strong, bold colours, they make excellent plants for use on patios, terraces, balconies.
Feed and water Gerbera plants regularly throughout the growing season. Cut back faded Gerbera flowers from the base of the stem. In autumn, move containers of Gerbera to a bright, frost free position for the winter. Reduce watering, keeping the soil just moist during winter months. Gerbera plants will require winter protection if grown in garden borders outdoors. Sundayz Outdoor Gerbera should be in constant bloom as long as light can reach the crown of the plant and they are fertilized every 3 weeks.
If your Gerbera starts to wilt make sure it’s not being over or underwatered. You want moist soil, not a desert or a flood. Also be sure to give it plenty of direct sunlight. Remove old stems, discoloured leaves and faded flowers, to maintain your Gerbera plants, prevent fungus infections and to encourage new growth.
